Apparently the pilots didn't know they were missing the nose wheel till the Sparks started to fly.

Montrealers are fairly used to stuff falling from above, but normally it's bridges and overpasses.

Yes. One incident every 42 years definitely warrants a TSB response.

At least the wheel could've waited until they got to the runway before departing like in this incident in April...how rude!

Whats the big deal ,minor damage to a roof ,look what happens when the whole plane falls into a house?

Silly me, I thought there already were appropriate measures in place to ensure wheels don't fall off airplanes. Learn something new everyday....

Which could have easily been 1 dead. Something fell off the airplane when it wasn't supposed. It is a big deal.
