Almost 2 and a half years and still no report from TSB on this accident. W.T.F? Why does it take so long in Canada to complete a report?

I agree that it is too long.

I imagine that coming up with conclusive evidence to the cause of the breakup are quite challenging and resources toward a cargo aircraft crash investigation are at best scarce.

I doubt they'll find much beyond the obvious.

"In the alcohol blood level range of 0.20% to 0.25% a drinker may experience nausea, vomiting and need assistance walking. A loss of consciousness or an alcohol blackout commonly occurs at this level of intoxication."

Final report is out. I'm feeling really bad for the FO. You'd think that somebody that morning would have had an idea of the captain's condition. You should be able to smell someone with .24 BAC even if they are acting normal. Sad.

This is really sad. I hope some kind of lightweight CVR/FDR becomes mandatory in small planes soon.
