Have seen a stall scenario in the sim where the instructor says the recovery allows one to continue the approach because the stable approach parameters are met. Here it was a windshear recovery....
"C-FMZB, an Embraer ERJ 190-100 aircraft operated by Air Canada, was conducting flight ACA526
from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl (CYYZ), ON to Boston/General Edward Lawrence Logan Intl
(KBOS), MA with 4 crew members and 84 passengers on board. During the final approach to
Runway 32 at KBOS, the flight crew received a wind shear warning. The recovery procedure was
executed and, since the approach was still stabilized, the flight crew continued. During the flare,
the wind changed and the aircraft landed hard. After the landing was completed, the flight crew
requested ARFF to inspect the aircraft; no damage was found. The flight crew taxied to the gate
without further incident. There were no injuries."

Considering the wind shear escape maneaver on the Boeing is too fire wall the thrust and climb out, I would imagine it would be difficult to remain within stable approach criteria after that.. is the Embraer procedure different?

Yeah we do an immediate escape maneuver/go around. I know one could get lulled into trying to salvage it if things looked ok, but IF things didn't go as appeared that decision is going to bite you. Better to just try again.
