At least it is *near* a lake instead of *in* a lake.

We're making progress!

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Did we ever find out for sure what caused the first accident? All I saw was that the engines were examined and had no mechanical fault.

It's only two airplanes, but they crashed the first one twice.

Maybe TC Ontario region needs some assistance from Prarie North on what to do with sketchy operations (Buffalo, Keystone). Only allowed to crash so many planes in a short timeframe before you are done.

Is that because the lake was frozen?

Contaminated wings on takeoff.

I doubt TC really cares what cargo pilots do to themselves.

I heard thunder miss as well at wunnamun. The pic I’ve see looks pretty misty in the background. Probably wasn’t great. Probably landed long and off the end.

When is it enough?

What is the difference between crashing 2 passenger airplanes in 8 months or 2 cargo airplanes? Seems to mean something to TC.
Same all star at the controls.

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do.

No need to look to TC, it will only be a matter of time before thier insurance rates put them out of buisness

The Northwest Company might be regretting their purchase at this point.

Had to chuckle when I saw this today:
"The integration of North Star Air will lead to further synergies and better logistic solutions."

Fantastic logistics when the goods arrive on the frozen surface of a lake 1 mile from the departure airport. Do we know if the Sachigo incident happened on arrival or departure?

I'd imagine Northstar exec's and NW Company exec's are having some pretty serious conversations.

Thankfully the boys walked away again. Its so difficult to pack properly for these Basler recoveries. Skidoo, boat, chainsaw... which one to take???

Is it a different crew involved in each crash. It can't be a very large company.
