Porter Taildraggers

Post by Trim Spinner »

Why do all the posts about Porter tailstrikes disappear? They've had two in the last month, both in the Soo.

Not a mod and didn't read all of the threads, but I'd guess someone said something stupid, and either a mod noticed or someone from Porter complained. Deleting the thread is easier than defending a libel lawsuit.

A quick search of the CADORS indicates only 1 tail strike within the last month at YAM. Maybe check your facts first

The thread regarding the May incident in the Soo is still present as well if you look closely... and one from last fall.

The one classified as an accident was on landing, now just over a month ago. There was also one during takeoff about a week and a half ago where the crew rotated before V1 in an effort to avoid some birds, and scraped the tail behind the tailstrike sensor.

Maybe TC is working with Avcanada mods and removing them from the CADORS as well.

Enquiring minds want to know.

To paraphrase Mr Burns: I suspect you need more practice operating your computer machine...

CADORS for tailstrike on takeoff

Took all of 10 seconds.

Have they actually disappeared, or are you having difficulty finding them?
