Good company, but seem to be hiring a lot lately for the 208

I've never gotten a phone call but got an email about receiving a resume I sent back in the fall. What kind of time do you guys have when you've applied to Morningstar?

Re: Morningstar Air Express
Having more than the mins posted on the website (most guys applying have a LOT more than the mins posted), living in the area that the posting is posted for and having a decent well rounded résumé helps immensely (IFR/Multi/Turbine/Jet?/PIC...) - quality TT is what matters.
Showing continued interest in the position also helps when they aren't - you know - posting it on Avcanada when a couple hundred résumé carpet bombing applicants drop their résumé into the pile on their way to Sky Encore.
Don't be surprised of not hearing back, if you don't meet the TT and/or this is your first time applying. If you don't hear back on this round, keep applying and continuously updating your résumé to show interest in the position (I believe this is called building a repertoire) - if you are in fact serious about working with Morningstar.
If you do hear back, good for you! Good luck in the interview!

Hey guys, i applied with around 1700 tt and 600 pic on the caravan. Used to run dhl in the caribbean. Thought I'd be a good fit.
Known someone who worked there and he loved it...good movement within and great schedule.
Wonder if they will still consider me haha

Same for me, the email said they would keep the resume on file for 12 months back in the fall. Question for the forum, should one send another resume again in response to the new posting or don't seeing as there is a resume already in their files.Hudson wrote:I've never gotten a phone call but got an email about receiving a resume I sent back in the fall. Website has main office - call up HR? I've never found much luck in the past talking directly to C.Ps as you are likely to be seen more as a nuisance but HR usually has the time and patience to deal with calls.
