Yeah, 80 000 CAD for a pilot is way too much !

The limo driver pay is only higher than the pilots if someone is stupid enough to take the job. If no one applied I'll bet the pay would increase! Oh yeah this is aviation, what was I thinking, of course someone will take it. Let the bitching about the pay and conditions carry on!

Pay well, get good pilots, drivers, employees etc. What CEOs need to think of is who they rather have at the helm during a pending crash and pay accordingly. Personally I'd take my chances in a limo with a 16y/o driving and pay top dollar for highly experienced flight crew.

I wouldn't imagine an organization as big as Monster would undervalue their flight crew, as much as the AvCanada arm chair association clearly thinks they do.
