Northern Thunderbird
Just wondering if anyone could share the wages and schedule for a 1900 captain at northern Thunderbird in their Vancouver base.
Re: Northern Thunderbird
I heard 46 for the left seat out of cyxs medevac. Can't believe it but it came from a friend working there a couple of years ago. Hopefully it's gone up by a lot.

Wow. To be blunt, in this current industry, that pay would have to go up drastically, it has to be said. I'm a King Air 200 captain making significantly more doing medevacs. Offering mid 40s to fly a 704 b1900 is not going to attract many, if not anyone qualified imho. For CMA, Pasco, NTA and the like who operate the 1900, for me to consider making a jump there I would feel comfortable with 70k a year min wage, especially if im moving to Vancouver or Calgary where rent is double what i'm paying now. Roast me if you like, but that is what at least my own terms would be. I really do hope they dont take advantage over the Canadian law designed to hire foreign pilots who will accept the current WAWCONs of some operators.

1900 and 350 Capt: 46,8 to 72k
1900: 6 on, 3 off
350: 4 on, 4 off
1900: 6 on, 3 off
350: 4 on, 4 off

46.8 for a captain? Jezuz that's brutal. Guess they have to compete with GGN for operating costs and without the benefit of a CPA.
