Looking for Help and work.

Post by Kfarr87 »

Hello,

I am looking for work and could really use some help / direction in finding it.

About me: I am Canadian born and raised. I speak English. I have a degree in aviation maintenance avionics from Centennial College. I have my radio operators license. I have held certification in Artex ELT. I have a vehicle and can drive.

Experience: I have about 10 years of aviation work experience, mostly at one company. The company I worked for did aircraft completions and refurbishment, as well as maintenance.

Skills: Although I technically am only an avionics apprentice, I have a vast amount of highly varied skills. I have done the following, avionics testing, continuity testing, troubleshooting, parts re&re, wire harness manufacturing, sub assembly manufacturing, laser wire marking, wire harness installation, specialty cable installation such as GoGo and SATCOM and video, electrical system design, electrical engineering, 2D drafting, EWIS system development, training of personnel, recert and service of ELT, entertainment system install, high value quotations, choosing of parts, inventory management, supplier management, technical documents review, technical writing, tooling purchase/management, production support, document corrections (RFE/ECO), supervision, aircraft servicing, sheet metal work, aircraft demod, service bulletins, avionics upgrades, and probably a lot more that I haven't listed.

I am currently looking for a job, I don't have a green card, so I would like a job in Canada. I am willing to move to anywhere, yes anywhere, even the really cold places. I am not looking for large money, I would however like a reasonable salary say $16-20CAD an hour. I have applied around a bit, but it is hard to describe my level of skills and experience in a resume, additionally it is hard to make the right connections.

I am loyal and dedicated, I work both hard and smart.

I could really use a job, or some introductions to the correct people.

Please help,
Keith

I do not have "time and flight hours" as I am not a pilot.

I tried to list my years of experiance = 10
And talk about my many useful skills. Which really is rather long no matter how I post it.

As for how pilots post the bodys they have flight hours on. I can post the airframe types I have done work on.
Bombardier CRJ200
Bombardier CRJ700
Bombardier CRJ900
Bombardier Challenger 604
Bombardier Challenger 605
Bombardier Challenger 650
Bombardier Challenger 850
Bombardier Dash 8
Bombardier Learjet 45
Bombardier Learjet 60
Bombardier Global Express
Bombardier Global 5000
Hawker 800
Hawker 800XP
Hawker 1000
Dassault Falcon 900
Cessna Citation 2
Cessna 150, 180, 185
Piper Seminole, Seneca, cherokee
Mooney
Raytheon Beachcraft
Sikorsky

Probably a slew of other puddle jumpers to commuter size aircraft that I can't even recall at the moment.
