Job Description:

DHC-2 pilots are expected to self dispatch, load, fuel, and maintain contact with Van City Seaplanes' office during operations. Meet with, check in and fly VCS passengers to many coastal BC destinations. Must be able to think on the fly, be adaptable, be able to handle GPS operation in and out of busy Vancouver class B airspace and be a team player. Schedule will be determined based on pilot roster and rotation from The start of June through the end of September.

Safety for passengers, crew and aircraft are of the utmost importance to VCS. Must have a clean operation history. No Accidents, no incidents.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Legal right to work in Canada
-Transport Canada issued commercial pilot license
-Current class 1 medical
-Must have a minimum of 1000 hrs total time
-Must have a minimum of 500 hrs float time
-Must have a minimum of 100 hrs on DHC-2
-If you don't have DHC-2 experience, you must have extensive float experience
-Egress training is an asset
Preference will be given to applicants with West Coast experience. Experience requirements may be less for the right applicant.
