Hi Everyone,
I am moving into the Southern GTA area in early January. I am currently a Class 3 instructor and will be visiting Waterloo, Brampton and Spectrum to meet their CFI's and hand in a resume.
Any thoughts or opinions on the schools mentioned above? Does anyone know what the Class 3 pay is at each of the schools?

Spectrum Airways pays $21/hr for class 3 instructors. You get paid for the time you bill students (PGI, DUAL), no extras (Night Rating Solo Supervision not paid, 16 hrs a month "pilot duty" desk job not paid).
Busy flight school good for building time, but low income.

How can anyplace get away with requiring unpaid work? Isn’t that illegal?
