PAL's Dash operation in YUL services a twice daily sked run to Quebec City, Sept-Iles and Wabush, NL. There is also a daily overnight YUL-Wabush flight. In addition to the scheduled run there is lots of charter work serving areas throughout Quebec and the Maritimes.
Conditions and atmosphere overall are very good, pay is comparable if not better to most regionals as well as benefits and reciprocal jumpseat agreements for pilots (AC, WJ, Porter etc). 12 GDOs a month.
Re: Provincial (PAL) Airlines
Greatly depends on the base and type of operation. You mentioned YUL and that's a good one if your future goal is working for the majors as it provides relevant experience. Doing the maritime patrol as you imagine isn't as helpful in that regard as it's not similar to airline ops or very challenging. Those ones can still be ok though if you just want to get a little dash 8 experience for applying at a regional.

Hey Kilocharliemike. I tried to send you a PM for details but I'm restricted on here as a new member apparently. I'm interested in the CYUL Captain position, do you happen to know if it's a commutable position at all?kilocharliemike wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 9:47 am Better than what most Regionals are offering these days, PM if you would like details.

Just wondering what the RML position at PAL is all about, and what aircraft is being operated. Just a Bird dog pilot looking at moving onto an airline operation.
