Aircraft fitter?

Post by Hybri » Thu Nov 14, 2019 8:35 am

Hey! I work in the aerospace industry. My job duties are: assembling aircraft parts, reading and interpreting drawings, riveting, drilling, reaming, installing hi-locks, and others. I don't have mechanic license (A,B). My duties at work are the same as in this job offer https://www.lockheedmartinjobs.com/job/ ... s=1-INDEED

Do you think this job has a future? I wonder because Airbus has automated the production of A320 aircraft. https://www.airbus.com/newsroom/press-r ... mburg.html

I really like my job and I don't want to lose it because of robots. Thanks guys! and sorry for my grammar.
