VAL, they just don't get it do they?
Anyone else see the latest add's by Voyaguer, they post new ads every months looking for pilots. And yet when I looked this time the wage has reamained the same with the same carrot dangling there about Dash and CRJ upgrades.
Have they dropped the bank loan thing yet?

VAL doesn't get it? THEY DO GET IT. They GET a stack of resumes everytime they send out a job advertisement. They GET it just fine. Apparently some of us don't GET IT.
Re: VAL, they just don't get it do they?
I posted somewhere else how I thought they got it too.
Tons of applicants, willing to put money up front, many of whom will be unable to tolerate the working conditions (looks good at first, to have a seat in a large turboprop etc.) so they bail, forfeiting their training bond.
Low Wageur HR picks another name off the pile, dangles another carrot with a price tag on it, another sucker pays and gets over the thrill of the new seat in, oh, a month. Working conditions are so gross, the responsibility is large, the paycheque is small, the living conditions are dire, he finally can't stand it after 6 months and just doesn't turn up for his next rotation.
Maybe they make more revenue off wannabe pilots than they do flying the silly airplanes?
The turnover is huge, they post an add here every 2 or three months.
JUST SAY NO TO VOYAGEUR!

"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."

Where do these pilots come from...$10,000 is a lot of money.
I can't imagine why anyone would pay to get a job, it flies in the face of sanity...I always thought you got a job to make money not pay to get a job.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

It raises alarm bells for me.Cat Driver wrote:I can't imagine why anyone would pay to get a job, it flies in the face of sanity...I always thought you got a job to make money not pay to get a job.
Kinda like the first time someone gave me the Amway sales pitch.
