Keewatin Air hiring rampies?

Post by Malahide »

I just wanted to know if anyone here works for Keewatin/Kivilliq air and knows if they hire low time pilots on the ramp to move them to the flight line? What is average time span guys spend on the ramp/dispatch before hitting the right seat? are they worth it?

Yes, Keewatin has been hiring low time pilots to do some ground work (Winnipeg or Rankin Inlet). Anywhere between 5 months to 18 months before going onto the flight line. Good company and good bunch of people overall. B200, 1900, Lear 35, and maybe more coming soon... Good luck!

sounds like a good place! I've sent my resume in a couple times, but no response. I'd assume the rampies get on the B200 after they pay their dues?

That's correct. The Be20 is usually the first step. Good luck to you!
