Airlines PNG

Post by Double Wasp »

While out and about I found this ad:

AIRLINES PNG

With its growing fleet of 23 turbo-prop aircraft (ATR-72-500, DHC-8 and DHC-6) , a workforce of more than 700 staff, and total revenue in excess of PGK 250 million (A$ 105 million) annually , Airlines PNG is now one of the largest airline operators in the Australasian region. Airlines PNG is the largest corporate charter operator in Papua New Guinea, servicing major oil & gas and other resource sector clients as well as operating an extensive domestic and international network. Papua New Guinea is experiencing phenomenal market growth due to the large number of resource sector projects currently taking place and the airline is expanding rapidly.

Due to this substantial growth we are seeking suitably qualified professional pilots for direct entry DHC-8-102/103 command positions. Either Cairns domiciled, or tours (3 weeks on/3 weeks off) is available to successful applicants. Tours only commence three weeks after successful check to line as a Captain. Total package (taxed in PNG) is circa A$ 163,000 for Cairns domiciled, and A$ 125,000 for tour positions.

Minimum qualification:

PNG or ICAO ATPL (or eligible for issue)
4,000 hours total flight time
3,000 hours command time
1,000 hours turbine/jet time
500 hours flight time on aircraft greater than 5,700 kgs MTOW.
PNG and/or DHC-8 experience is desirable but not essential
Applications should be addressed to pilot.recuitment@apng.com including DHC-8 Captain in the subject line. Pilots not meeting the requirements identified above are requested not to apply.

Please note that I do not work there and that I will not be able to answer any questions regarding T&C's or schedules.

Cheers
