Bearskin requirements
So PCC says 1,000TT, 100ME. I can imagine they're swaped with resumes all the time. Can anyone shed light on what the average experience of people hired are? Would an ATPL make you more desirable?
Re: Bearskin requirements
ATPL doesn't matter, you would be sitting in the right seat for atleast a year and a halff to two plus years. Plenty of time to get the ATPL signed off, from what ive been hearing they want guys with IFR experience with atleast 100 multi. The experience of initial hires has varied so much over the past few years, all the way from 1100-3500TT, pretty sure there firm on the 100 multi though if no IFR. I imagine there willl be a bunch of hiring in the next few months as a few GS have been scheduled
Re: Bearskin requirements
I hv over 1100 tt, close to 200 multi. Some multi crew and northern flyin experience, applied two weeks ago, wonder when they will call me for interview.
Any idea when they will start calling?

Re: Bearskin requirements
An internal reference is what will get you on at bearskin as well as a good interview obviously.

Re: Bearskin requirements
You definitely need to have the online form filled out and kept up to date, that is a must. Showing your face after that is extremely beneficial, so is having an internal reference.takamasa wrote:do they accept walk in applicants like wasaya?Ki-ll wrote:Showing your face in Thunder Bay hangar will not hurt.
