I hope no one applies for this based on where this work came from. Obviously they will get hundreds of resumes though.

If I recall, a certain Oil Company closed down their entire flight department and the work went to Flair.

Flair underbid the contract by cutting the pilots salary in half. Why pay a crew of guys a respectable $100,000++ when some fool will do it for $70,000?

If memory serves me correct, Flair was created as a contract/union buster for KFC. True lobster of a company.

Undercut and probably big promises that won't be obtained but by then it is to late for Shell to go back. Suncor might be next! Scab/Scare Air. You get what you pay for.

The user who you are outing had the good taste to PM you and your response is to attack him/her in here. Work it out privately or complain to a mod if you think something is out of line.

I too was approached by this user for sharing non-specific information in this topic (that I removed out of courtesy).

Duffman wrote:I posted in this thread a few days ago and since then the user "pika" has been messaging me to express his displeasure that I believe pilots should not stab each other in the back and work for what is essentially a company that was created for the sole purpose of undercutting reputable companies.

Ok, I don't work for Shell. I don't even have an IFR, i'm a float guy. But someone very close to me lost their job with Shell because of all of this. When I get messages from people such as this "pika" loser chastizing me for having morals, I get upset that our industry has dropped to this level.

Stop screwing each other, guys.

I too Duffman received a number of insulting PMs from "Pika" regarding Flair. It seems like he has no idea about the industry. I even took the time to answer his rude questions and fill him in on the back story, and his only response was 'well how much did shell pay'....!?!

Please guys if you are getting harassing PM's let Avcanada know with copies of your PM and we can deal with it. Nothing will be achieved by fighting on here. All this is clearly stated in the forum rules.
