not trolling at all. did an interview not so long ago and patiently waiting. lots of Encore pilots that I personally know had reference check done the same day as interview so wanted to know if it's actually a thing. thanks

No it’s not.
Currently there are lot’s of applications, which hasn’t always been the case over the past year. So things are a little different now and the process will not go as quickly as it did for most in the past.

How long until one normally hears back after an interview? Its been over a month and Ive heard nothing.
Maybe they are just really backed up, waiting is no fun.

What are the kinds of things that could trigger a PFO from Encore?
They seem to hire a lot of low time pilots so I would assume that someone with a lot of flight time, and similar flight time to people that they have hired should be relatively safe.
Assuming the online testing went well, where could someone potentially slip up on the interview to trigger that PFO?
