Well, it all depends on the day/pairing. If you end up on a heavy 4 day, you may end up flying 4 - 5 legs a day, or you can have the opposite where you'll Deadhead one leg and or operate one leg a day.

Lots, when you want to relax and the weather is bad, little, when you’re trying to get those hours up .

Thanks!
PS: Does Encore still do the presentation thing as part of the interview process or did they scrap that idea?

It’s terrifying that pilots of a Q400 are trying to build time.matthew.oommen wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 6:25 pmLots, when you want to relax and the weather is bad, little, when you’re trying to get those hours up .

Re: Typical Day
Slightly true. Upgrade is based on matrix. So people with a bunch of 704/little 705 time on the left seat might not qualify with the current matrix regulations. So they fly as much as they can to upgrade sooner, so as to make up a little bit of lost coin from the 60% paycut they take to come here on average.atphat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 12:04 pmIt’s terrifying that pilots of a Q400 are trying to build time.matthew.oommen wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 6:25 pmLots, when you want to relax and the weather is bad, little, when you’re trying to get those hours up .

That has been out of the WestJet system for quite some time.

Re: Typical Day
I think they brought it back recently, a quick presentation of a generic topic.
