Heard this as well. Not taking into consideration the new duty rules. Good time to apply.
17 new hires in February... A mix of 320 and 330. Good times, good times!

The posting is back up, and they've dropped the "bilingualism is an asset" from the ad!

Yyz at first it is for the time being
Then you get to move to yul once your seniority gets there.

I really hope they ask the french pilots to be bilingual, it would seem like speaking a bit of english might be somewhat helpful in aviation...?

I’m purely an English speaker, and don’t speak French besides maybe 20 different odd words. I definitely can’t converse in French. Got the call for phone interview from the last recent ad-Any info or help would be appreciated as to when the next groundschool is planned for and for which aircraft type.

If I haven’t received the email for a phone interview yet should I assume I’ve been passed over this round?

Has anyone else applied then to have a recruiter email and ask for your resume to be sent to their email?
Thanks.

My phone interview didn’t last more than 5 minutes when I was asked if I had a Canadian passport as to which I said no to. I’ve had a PR card for the last 16 years however and mentioned I’m applying for my Canadian citizenship, and getting a crew visa wouldn’t be an issue. They would have to look into this and that was the end of the phone call. It’s been almost a week and no yes or no or invite for an official interview in Montreal. Even though it says on their add that they hire PR card applicants, it seemed to be a show stopper for me? Are there any PR card pilots at AT?
