As I said in the WestJet threads in regards to this, the industry is supporting you. Regardless of which airline we all fly for I think it's the general consensus that wawcon should improve industry wide, or at least be set in stone before the duty regs are put into effect.

You're all brave to be fighting for your rights, instead of being walked over.

Good luck!

96 percent of union members participated in the vote.
98 percent voted in favor of labor action.
If you do the math it is 94 percent supporting the strike.
Negotiations will continue in June.

I can't see Flair pilots committing to slavery any longer.

Just curious where things are at for Flair Pilots? Still negotiating? Dates set? That sort of stuff.

A final round is anticipated in the nearest future with a strike card as a serious argument tool.

I agree. Good on the boys and girls there. Standing up for themselves. I've never been in that position, must be hard to vote down a negotiated agreement.

I wonder if there's any chance we will hear the terms that were rebuked by the membership?

The membership knew that they could do better.
Yes, friends out there told me it was hard to say no, considering that they have absolutely Sh&t working conditions and rules now and the contract looked sorta alright.. Quite deplorable current working conditions actually. Everything they are asking for is well within reason. I hope they get it plus a little more. Stay united, good luck.

here is what I have been told. I no longer work there.
9-15% across the board raise
Max 85 credit hours or 18 days scheduled per month whichever is higher. Guys are getting 14-16 GDOs a month compared to the previous 10.
Double pay if you want to work on a gdo.
Plenty of other allowances dry cleaning, cell phone, headset, shoes etc... added
Profit share/stock purchase program.
Crediting system overhaul. Min credit for any company related activity is 4 hours
Credits based on schedule or better.
Perdiem bump from 3 to 3.50
Actual schedule bidding process which was non existent before
Many other aspects very similar to the Sunwing contract
