YQM VFR course in Sept 2018

Just wondering if anyone on this site has heard if they are going to YQM... I was suppose to be on the stand by list for the course that started Feb 12th 2018 but turned it down and was told that I have a spot in Sept 2018!

I actually received my official offer to the YQM VFR Training that is the 10th of September 2018!!

My first call was about a month ago and was asked to do the FSS course, which I declined... then I was offered the standby by for the Feb 12th course for VFR and was told that i was guaranteed my spot in September... I got my official offer and ITA login on Friday the 23rd... I was also told that the VFR course is very small... It is also a national training course which means that you can be dispatched to anywhere they need you in the country

I had a minimum of VFR in mind and had decided in the begging to decline FSS if it was ever offered to me... LOL I'm glad it worked out as well
