Hey congrats on getting a course! I'm starting FSS training in kamloops in October. Hows your ITA studying going?

Thanks, I've actually been a FSS for 8 years and am getting the chance to cross train. Ita is going good, it's mostly just a refresh for me as I already had to do it once before. Have you been to Kamloops before?

That's awesome! I have not been to Kamloops before and it's driving me crazy trying to find a pet friendly place to rent!

I don't know anything about the rentals in Kamloops, but I love the city. You will enjoy it I'm sure.

Hey Golfaddict! Just wondering...were you at the Kamloops FIC for all 8 years? What did your typical schedule look like if you don't mind me asking?

Still no place to live but I am soooo excited for the course to start!

Hey Lisa,

I actually have never worked at Kamloops, I've spent my whole career in the yeg region up until now. I just really like the city everytime I go through. I have a friend that works upstairs at the AAS site in Kamloops and I'm actually getting my first tour there on Thursday as I drive down to Surrey. When does your course start?

I haven’t been to this site in a while so I just saw this post. I’m starting VFR training on Monday in Surrey as well. My name is Colin and for the past 4 years I have been working in ARFF at YVR. Good luck to you in the course. I’m assuming with your experience you will sail through training. I look forward to meeting in person.

P.S. I have been looking through the documents that Nav Canada has sent me and I can’t find anything referencing any dress code for training. I’m guessing it is casual dress for training, is that right?

Hi Colin! I also currently work at YVR...at the south terminal for Pasco

my adventure starts next month in Kamloops and my guess for dress code would be business casual, but I haven't heard anything about that either so I usually err on the side of being over dressed lol
