Hi everyone,

is there any chance anyone recognises the Air Commodre in the photo handing out the graduation rolls?
The student was my father Brian Waring who was trained at Gimli for the RAF, apparently he ground looped a Harvard and was told he'd make a fine navigator.
He was at 2 ANS, course 38A, have attached a photo incase anyone is interested or has old friends from that era.

I do have some other photos of barracks and the odd Harvard and Expiditor if you are interested.

My flew in Canberra's from 1954 to 1956 then went onto the Number 1 Vulcan course and joined 83 Sqn, was also at 230 OCU for a few years before joining 9 Sqn, sadly the crew were all killed on 11/2/1966 when Vulcan XH536 crashed in the Brecon Beacons in Wales.

I am trying to put together a book for his grandkids and great grandkids, hence the question about the AC, I like to have everything named and located!!

Thank you in anticipation

Cheers
John
