Can we have links open in new window?

Post by A2G »

When clicking links in a thread, instead of changing the current window, can we have it open a new window or tab?

Thanks

Can't you right click it and choose "open in new tab" or "open in new window"?

But Widow, that would take at least 1.5 seconds longer.

Seriously though, A2G, that is dependent on the link that is involved I think. But like Widow says, right click and open in a new window yourself... not too hard is it?

Click with the middle mouse button.

Oh and personally I would really hate it if they all opened in a new window.

I forgot about the right mouse button, but yeah it works.

I just kept clicking links, being taken to the next page, done reading it and I'm used to automatically closing it after, then I'd go to find the avcanada window and forgot that I just closed it, then have to open a new one and.....I guess some people just run their desktops differently.....but either way, right mouse click does the trick thanks!

Square said the middle mouse button (usually clicking on the wheel). You could also hold "control" on your keybord and left click on the links to open them in a new tab, works in IE7 and Firefox.
