messages in "outbox"

Post by loopy »

I have 2 pm's sitting in my outbox, and they show the dates that they were created. Why are they in an "outbox" vs a "sent" file? Am I missing a step somewhere? I've never had this issue until just recently.

The explanation provided a couple of months ago is that the message stays in your "Outbox" until the addressee opens it up. Can anybody else confirm or correct?

That is correct. The recipient must read the PM for it to be removed from your "Outbox".
