upgraded dhc-3 pilots seat
Been asked to find suppliers of upgraded/modified pilots seat for otters, eg. more comfortable, with fold-down arm rests etc.
Any names of suppliers would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Certified? Ask Viking, I'd think any seat certified for the -3 would be known to them.
Not certified? You don;t want to go there.
would anybody guess the cost to build and certify a seat for any aircraft today?

I wonder if a Twin otter seat would slide into the same mounting thingies as the single otter seat. Then at least you'd have armrests, although the seat isn't exactly what I'd call "upgraded"..

Is it the same P.N.? otherwise your c of a is void, your ins is void, but we all know this already,,, right.

You're right, but I was just thinking about it because he said "upgraded"... I suppose since they have the type certificates, Viking could make an "upgraded" seat out of a twin otter one if they wanted, maybe. I don't know.
