WARNING ON JET-OPS DUBAI

Post by westcoastdog »

WARNING to all C-208 pilots stay away from Jet-ops/ Seawings or what ever they call themselfs!

They have no problem have a pilot use their visa to pay for things then when the bill is over $20,000 hiring someone else ! Or chancing the company name to void honouring the hiring contract,.. stay clear of these guys!! Stay here in Canada much better jobs and honest people!!

A pilot with a $20,000 credit card limit?

I don't know who is stupider? The pilot in this case or the credit card company...

I had a couple of friends working there last winter and had no complaints other than not much flying as the company is just getting the 208 established. Everything was paid for, apartment, car, JAR medicals etc. so why not tell us more about why you got stuck with a $20K visa bill.

Yeh, I'm interested in hearing about that also for several reasons such as who would pay their own way on a foreign flying job?

And why would any pilot who can get a $20,000.00 Visa limit be interested in flying a small single engine airplane?

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Sorry, I don't quite get it; which credit card are you referring to?

Do I understand you spent 20k for them? What for, what kind of expenses?

Maybe my language barrier again... :?

Can someone explain in depth?

The only way I can see a 20,000 dollar bill on a Visa, is an evening in one of these underground cabaret. You can rack up a large bill in a matter of hours.

A first time poster made a nonsensical post to advertise his online shop. That's how this gets resurrected after 6 years...

Wild. Since that post is gone it totally looks like I necro-bumped it.

I don't even check dates here since the mods are on top of this sort of thing due to the abuse of the report button.

Here I thought I was hanging out, chatting with Cat.
