Suck it up, princess! Get in there and get your hands dirty- it will only
be for 5 or 6 months, and then you'll be off for the winter. I got my second job in aviation as a direct result of my first - the line from the CP was 'Anyone who can work for a season in Summer Beaver can come and work for me!'

Best job I ever had, Craig and Hugh treated the pilots like actual human beings. Days off were consistant and nothing was ever pushed; weather, payload, workload. If you had a snag that you were not comfortable with (or even if you were) it went across the bay to the hanger immediately. Lots of little perks along the way as well (fishing time, nights at the lodge). Most guys usually stick around for 2 seasons. I reccomend it to a guy who's looking to build hours to get to a caravan or otter job

Red Lake was a fun place to spend the summer.Definitely way worse places to be. All kinds of operators around Howey Bay and don't forget to look into a few operators in Ear Falls aswell on the way to YRL.

Usually "av Canada" is a place that an operator would not want their name mentioned. In this case, when I see this many posts with positive things to say about this operator, if I were you I'd be getting a resume in there. Sounds like a good deal.

I was just going through the forums and made an account to comment on this. I work there now (well technically i'm off for the winter) but will be there next season. If you have any questions I can give some input.
