Kenmore building floats for China

Post by jspitfire »

More activity with the floatplane market in China. Good for Kenmore, but too bad for folks like Viking since this could take away from possible DHC6 orders.

Says they're also going with carbon fibre construction. What other larger seaplanes currently have carbon fibre floats?

Are Aerocets carbon fibre or just fibreglass?

Couldn't possibly be worse than the wet tissue-paper that Wipline uses to build their useless floats. Too bad Viking made that secret deal with Wipaire; the twin otters would probably benefit from a nice pair of EDOs as well.
