Hey everyone, first time poster here..
I've always wanted to fly floats and am looking at packing my bags and moving on over next year. I understand the whole situation with converting my licence over but I wanted more information on the "50 hour" courses on offer by organizations. I have no float experience but am sitting on 1500TT, mostly comprising of sheep and cattle mustering across Australia.
If I was to only get the float rating am I still employable for next season or do employers only take you on after you've completed the "50 hour" course?
Living remotely and carrying out labour intensive work other than flying also isn't an issue.
Thanks!

It's been stated many times but do you have a right to work here? That should be priority 1 before the license conversion

You should be able to get a working holiday visa. Finding a job though may be difficult.
