Kenora, Dryden, Thunder Bay Area has been ice free in the lakes for a week or more. There is just a little problem with all the ice and snow build up around the lakes!

Northern Manitoba has not yet seen warm days. The overall melt is very slow with most lakes still ice covered. Record snowfall is also causing concerns. The Northern Rivers are the highest in recorded history flooding out entire camps. All control structures are fully open and MB. Hydro is scrambling.
And it isn't finished yet!
