Is there a low cost bush plane that is at least 48" wide?

Well Kraser,

No matter how many ways you ask the question, when you come to the point of wanting to haul more than a cubic meter or so, weighing more than a few hundred pounds, to a water destination a few hundred miles away, the cost goes exponential. You can charter that service for multiple thousands per trip, or you can own it for many multiple hundred thousands, and still the thousand for operating cost.

A hundred thousand dollar floatplane may carry three hundred pounds 200 miles, that's about it. Double the cost may double the payload.

Found Expedition I think. It's not inexpensive though.

You could also look at the Sherpa 850 but I'm not sure of it's status.

AN-2

Just gotta go to Russia or china, find one on floats, fly it around the world, import it, register it.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
