Thoughts on Transwest for a 250 hour pilot?
Thoughts on it? Do you need your IATRA to fly there? Do you start flying right away? How is the pay?

I’d say good luck? I applied with 375 hours and 110 float, never heard a peep from them.

I worked there for a brief time. Pay is/was below average, there were pretty long wait times to see a cockpit, shitty schedule (in CYSF at least), bad living conditions in the ramp crew house, and not the greatest morale. With that said, there was always good guys around and we had fun.
As far as I know they dont require an IATRA for ground staff but then youre limited to either the King Air or Twin Otter.
Id take it only as a last resort option or if you live in and want to stay in Saskatchewan.

I started on the dock/hanger, worked alot of the world, off strip engineer. Twin Otter still brings me back here. Have fun!
