Been a very busy firefighting season(although I hear that the NWT firefighters are twiddling their thumbs with a wet season and no outside work). Here is some interesting pics and footage of a variety of aircraft.

I have been lucky. Most of my GA flights out west have been when the smoke was blowing in other directions and relatively clear.

Fire bombing is an interesting job when you are actively working on fires, however there can be long periods of doing nothing except sitting at a fire base waiting to be dispatched on a fire.

It also pays a fairly good wage.

We mostly read and watched videos and I always watched videos on history, science and theology.
