Do you folks find it awkward to land with more than 20 degrees of flaps? I find that with more than 20 degrees, the manual flap control stick gets in the way of quickly accessing and operating the throttle and prop rpm knobs?

Do I just need to get use to it?

It is something you have to get used to, especially if you have been flying electric flap airplanes. I had the same problem in my 172, it is kinda like a car I had with an armrest in a bad position.

Just get used to it. I preferred to have my arm on the far side of the flap lever, and reach back to the left to the throttle and prop.
