PK 3000 vs PK 2950

Post by ScandySky »

Hi!

We are looking for a set of straight floats for our 1959 C-180. We´d prefer PK 3000 but found a set of PK 2950 which is an older model and quite rare. I read earlier at one should stay away from the Pk 2950 als well as the PK 3500A models.
Are there any real disadvantages of the 2950 compared to the 3000´s?

Thnx.

I heard Keith Strange , Production Supervisor at PK describe the difference's to someone that was looking
at a set of 2950's and he was steering them away from
them. But can't remember the details but will be seeing him in next few days and could get that info??
Also know of a good set of 3000's a friend has for sale?
Good luck
Earle
