Looking to buy a serviceable astro compass. More to have as a piece of history but also want to learn how to use.
Before anyone says it yep got a GPS.

Who do you work for that carries astrocompasses still? That's awesome! Do you use them?

And yes, we still use them. Up north we fly north of the mag pole, and down south, south of the South mag pole.

For that matter, north of 80N, and anywhere in the Antarctic, we operate in Grid.
