ENVY!! What's the routing/leg lengths? When are you leaving? I'd love to hear the roar of a 2800 in the middle of winter..

It's getting loaded on a ship and wrapped. No 100LL so it's the only way this time of year. Getting off loaded in Busan.

Cool shot of it being loaded on the ship!

I thought it was odd that the first one was flown over through Alaska, while this one went down to Vancouver.

A friend of mine managed to get some shots of it landing in the harbour...

This is the first one. No tanker went through Alaska. To take a 215 through Alaska this time of year would be asking for trouble. You would need hangers big enough to park the bird in overnight all along the route, Then there is logistics of getting 100LL in eastern Russia. This is the best way to get it to South Korea. You could fly eastbound but that could take a couple of months.

Ah ok, just got confused since the TC website shows one being exported back in December 2011, but it looks like it's the same one. For some reason I remembered hearing about Alaska, but that must have been something else.
