Name those wings.
Television is like the invention of indoor plumbing. It didn't change people's habits. It just kept them inside the house.

Re: Name those wings.
The top one is a Bristol Freighter that used to belong to Hawk Air (I saw that particular one on its final flight, actually the last fight of a Bristol freighter, on its way through Prince George to the museum where it now resides)
The bottom one is a Grumman S-2 Tracker, modified for fire service.

That's great. Thanks for responding. I'd love to see what other treasures they have in the storage "shed".

The very first model of airplane Cessna produced, the O-2 and an Avro Arrow is stashed away in the back room out there, interspersed between acres of farm equiptment.

The Firecat was one of three that lived in the Yukon for the summers. I miss the noise.

Re: Name those wings.
Sure was a rumble when 3 of them launched in short succession. The air tractors just don't have that appeal.
The only three things a wingman should ever say: 1. "Two's up" 2. "You're on fire" 3. "I'll take the fat one"

Used to say 67 was for the dumbest pilot in the crowd, C-GABC and Conair 567.
Ex-Canadian Navy. Conair Firecat. Where was that photo taken?

"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."
