Anybody out there who graduated from Canadore AMT 1992?

92 was not a good year for apprentice's getting first jobs. Whole graduating classes in that time period had only one or two persons employed in aviation in the first six months to a year following grad. Maybe the rest of your 92 class "pursued other options" rather than aviation?

I know. It took me 8 years to finally find something worthwile. But I stuck with it and to the #$@% and I finally have a steady maintenance job.

Basically at end of the course we had some employers come in from the north bay airport. They basically said "Thank you for taking the course and spendin all your money and time on the course! There are no jobs and we are not willing to hire any of you HAHAHA!" Now if that wasnt enough to deter someone right out of the trade!

Plus I believe that the fact that we were never allowed to take the exams(minus CARS or equivalent) at the end was a total slap in the face from the government.

A few people I knew got in the field but they all dissapeared.
