CARS question about license currency

#1 Post by wrenchturnin » Fri Nov 20, 2015 4:48 pm

I know it says you may not exercise the AME license privilage except if you have performed aircraft maintenance at least six months in the last 24. My question is it doesnt say M1 or M2 specific? In 2014 I worked on M2 aircraft the whole year until the end of December. Since then I have not worked in aviation. Now I want to sign M1 private aircraft in my own time but havnt worked on M1 specific aircraft since 2010. I have a M1/M2 license.

Your still good. You only have one AME license. Don't get too caught up in the M1/M2 stuff.
