What is a Maintenance Programs Specialist?
I see that Jazz currently has a posting, looking for a Maintenance Program Specialist. I have never heard of this job before. Is it the same thing as a Maintenance Planner? It does require the applicant to be licensed. Does anyone have any insight on this position?
Re: What is a Maintenance Programs Specialist?
A maintenance program specialist is someone who processes and inputs data to a maintenance program. When you add "specialist" to titles, it's a politically correct way of saying secretary or assistant.

Hmmm...doesn't look like a secretary or assistant to me.
Looks like a JAZZ specific title.

Basically, it's a PRM job, just at a big company. Without the requirement to initiate and manage work orders.
Being stupid around airplanes is a capital offence and nature is a hanging judge!
