ame stamp
I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion and a link to get an AME stamp made. I am also wondering if I should have my license number on the stamp or should I hand write my number along with my signature. I have seen log books done both ways.
I was searching online for a stamp but no such luck. Just generic vista print sort of stamps and I honestly do not know what type of font and size of font would be acceptable.
thanks

Is there a QA person where you work? If there is, pose this question to them.

Font and type should be legible. You do not need to hand write your number.

Re: ame stamp
staples makes custom stamps I think.
The only three things a wingman should ever say: 1. "Two's up" 2. "You're on fire" 3. "I'll take the fat one"

A stamp isn't required. Your signature and license number hand written is the method prescribed by the CARs. Use of stamps needs to be described by your MPM and approved. Unless you have a large AMO with plenty of signatories, there really isn't much need for stamps. In general, the stamps used by larger companies use a number that is assigned to the AME by the AMO and recorded. The MPM defines what (if any) additional information is required when the AME applies the stamp and when to use it.
