Nose compartment screen

Post by Kelly Harmsworth »

Hey guys.

I'm looking for the screen that would go along the back of the nose compartment in a navajo 310 just in front of the avionics. I can't seem to find a piper part number for this. If anyone has one that they would be willing to sell please PM me.

Ask Brad At westcan Aircraft, or make one like everyone else.

I've seen some just cut out a panel from sheet aluminum. It does the job quite well. I assume the original idea of the screen was to keep air circulating around the avionics on the shelf, but most ho's these days have the old gold crown junk removed so heating isn't so critical. I think I still have holes in my fingers from removing that dam screen.
