Hello everyone,
Me and my coworkers have been trying to figure out what a bracket for the ballistic flight deck door is for? It's on the upper edge and has a big yellow foam piece that looks like a twinkie on it. Any ideas??

Ive always wondered too. I suspect the foamy bit is so the observer sitting there doesn't crack his head open on that hefty bracket...but what is that random solid bracket even doing there?
