I think this is a maintenance type course. Not a pilot one.

Attitudes like these is what is dragging our industry down. You'll get a 737 type rating when you get hired by an airline which will train you according to their SOPs and only once you pass their ride.

I'm assuming you're from Europe, in Canada fortunately things don't work that way. Yet...

Yes it is a Maintenance Course, we do have Independent contractors on the courses periodically.
