So the wife has been asked by her company to relocate to the US (west coast). But this poses a huge problem as i can't go with her with out a job. I have tried a few US airlines for work but I can't make it past the prequalifying stage as i will require a visa. This is very frustrating seeing as how companies complain about shortage of qualified engineers. I am licensed holding AME M1, M2 ratings as well as my A&P license with several endorsements.
Any suggestions out there?

jsfirm.com
Lots of listings for US work including contract positions. Big bonus having your A&P already.

yes there is lots of A&P jobs. but if you aren't a US citizen and require a visa to get into US to work companies won't look at you. Read the fine print in job ads must be US citizen. I have applied at Alaska airlines i was even there canadian on call mech but was turned away for not being us citizen. This has been the same for Delta and United.
