Hi everyone, I just need opinion's on what is better, Heavy maintenance or Line maintenance.

It really depends on what you want to get from each. Line Maintenance requires quick accurate thinking to get the aircraft out and Heavy exposes you to how the systems work. Well in theory anyway. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Are you asking because you are just starting out? This question is very difficult to answer unless you really know your strengths and weakness. You really need to know what you want to get out of this. If you have specific questions just pm and I will try to answer them or give you some ideas.

If you're smart, go for line maintenance. Heavy will get you bored very fast.

If you're not smart, go for heavy, because repetitive monotonous work is for you.

both are good ways to learn the machine. but who wants to do strictly line maintenance? DI after DI after DI? that can get old fast.
